Congratulations to everyone at St. Catherine's Special School on your award! The log of your SFI CuriousMinds experiences clearly provides evidence of the STEM activities in your school this year, and it’s great to see whole school involvement. It was brilliant to see all the interesting experiments you carried out (the edible slime looked delicious!), and Nurse Colm’s talk about how to treat someone who is having a seizure looked so interesting and helpful. I particularly enjoyed your video of your morning song, and thank you for teaching me a few new Lámh signs! It’s also fantastic to see so much engagement with STEM outside the classroom such as the visit to Sea Life, finding shapes and patterns in nature and getting outside to learn how to read coordinates on a map. Well done and keep up the amazing work. It is a real credit to the pupils and teachers for all the work you have done!
