Dear Green Dreamers and Beleafers,
We had a wonderful day on Friday for our 'I am Green Day' to celebrate being awarded our first Green Flag. We made hats from recycled materials with lots of help from our amazing parents. The sun shone, the wind waved the flag, the wonderful parents came and the incredible hats were paraded by some fantastic swaggering posers. The quality of the hats was superb and the judges had a tough time picking the winners.
Thanks to Ashling and the Green Committee for organising such a wonderful event and to everyone who participated and made the day so special—painting walls, pulling weeds, supplying materials and designing and making hats.
Thanks also to Steven Matthews from the Green Party for coming along to raise our Green Flag.
